Official Obituary of Jason Lyndell Swanger November 23, 1980 - December 17, 2025

Jason "Jay" Lyndell Swanger, age 45 of Dunlap TN passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Jay loved fishing, the beach, being outdoors, working with his hands….he could fix anything ! Most of all, he loved being with his family and helping others. He was a true family man.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burrel and Nellie Swanger; great grandmother, Rose Dearing.

Jay is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Cowan Swanger; mother, Cynthia Crawford Swanger; father, Jackie Swanger; daughters, Melany and Hayli Swanger; siblings, Christie Reed, Matthew Pratt, Kelly Swanger and Jennifer Cunningham; grandmother, Marcia Crank along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
