William was born about 1750, the son of unknown parents. The place is not known.
His wife was Janet Penman, who he married in ABT 1780. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Beverige (1781-?).

!P: Sept'r. 23rd./ At a Constitute Meeting of the Session compeared Janet Penman & acknowledged that she had brought furth a Child & gave up William Beverige, Workman, in Dunmore Park, as the Father. Orders were given to cite Said William to appear before them on Sabbath next.
