Their six known children were Ada Mae (1869-1927), Joannah Rachel (1870-1953), Julyus Burton (1873-1874), Ida Rosalie (1876-1884), Otis Andrew (1878-1942) and Lottie Fidelea (1882-1884).
His second wife was Winnifred Cordelia Reeves, who he married on 8 MAY 1893 in Grant, Nebraska. Their five known children were Rose B (1896-1988), Frank James (1899-1972), Caroline Ellen (1901-1935), Rachel Mary (1904-?) and William Rexel (1907-1987).
