She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was John Hotchkiss / Huskie, who she married on 31 MAR 1865 in Free West Church, Old Monkland, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Their six known children were Agnes (c1861-?), Jane (1866-1903), James (1866-?), David Brown (1871-?), Helen Brown (1868-1933) and Janet (1869-?).
Her second husband was Ralston, who she married in BEF 1864. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
