Martha was born about 1837 in Birmingham, England, the daughter of Edward Gough and Elizabeth Wilkinson.
She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Jabez Dainty, who she married in ABT MAY 1856 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England. Their four known children were William (c1857-c1857), Thomas E (c1858-?), John Peter (c1861-?) and Abraham (c1863-c1863).
Her second husband was Enoch Clark. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
