Ann was born about 1794 in Madeley, Telford, Shropshire, England, the daughter of William Onions and Anne Hotchkiss.
Her husband was Henry Gogerty. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were William (c1818-?), Elizabeth (c1820-?) and Henry (c1822-?).
