!P: AUBURN -- Emily Maxine Kelly, 81, Auborn, died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, in a Topeka doctor's office.

!P: Mrs. Kelly and her husband farmed many years south of Auborn.

!P: She was born Sept. 19, 1911, aouthwest of Burlingame, the daughter of William and Edna Truesdale Washington. She grew up in the Burlingame community and attended Burlingame schools.

!P: She was married to Zell I. "Mike" Kelly July 24, 1929, at Topeka. He died Dec. 21, 1986. A son, Elbert Lee Kelly, died in infancy.

!P: Survivors include two daughters, Mary V. Ard, Osage City, and Patsy M. Jones, Verona, Va.; two sons, Franklin D. Kelly, Carbondale, and Zell I. Kelly Jr., Rossville; two sisters, Lillian Blair, Topeka, and Virginia, surname and address unavailable; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

!P: Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Auborn United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Auborn Cemetery. Mrs. Kelly will lie in state after 4 p.m. today at Carey Funeral Home in Burlingame. Memorial contributions may be made to the Auborn United Methodist Church. --
