Reuben was born about 1806, the son of Noah Phinney and Clark. The place is not known.
His wife was Lucy Fisher. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Eliza A. (1831-1870), Collins (1834-1839) and Detroit (c1836-?).
