He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Mary Ann Churchill, who he married on 7 SEP 1828. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Lydia Covington (1830-1890), Benjamin Harrison (c1832-?), Mary Ann (1836-?), Sarah Sally (1839-1905), Caleb Morton (1840-1865), Harvey (1842-1864) and William Howland (1846-1867).
His second wife was Adaline Clark, who he married on 10 APR 1850. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Seth Clark (1855-1917) and Abbot Gardner (1859-1916).
