Edmund was born on 27 DEC 1723 in Barnstable, Massachusetts, the son of John Phinney and Martha Coleman.
He died on 15 DEC 1815 in Gorham, Maine.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Elizabeth Betty Meserve, who he married in 1750. The place has not been found. Their nine known children were Patience (c1751-?), Decker (1752-1806), Sarah (1754-?), Joseph (1757-1825), Betty (1759-1828), Edmund (1760-1828), Stephen (1763-1800), James (1768-1860) and Nathaniel (1771-1850).
His second wife was Sarah Stevens, who he married on 1 NOV 1796. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
