hi all im looking for some info on hotchkiss history probs as far back as it can go i am not sure on who i am related to as all i no so far in my great graddad goerge william hotchkiss that lived in yorkshire and is a possability that he owned the emadale farm or so i was told lol anyway anyone has info about any hotchkiss's please let me no thnxs anthony hotchkiss

Great site! My 3xgt grandfather was Francis Hotchkiss b1799, christened in Barrow near Much Wenlock. His parents were John and Catherine. I hadn't found John's birth as there are so many to chose from. Do you have proof that John Hotchkiss b 1788 in Madeley is Francis' father - a name in a bible or something?

I do not know much about my family history. My father Charles Martin Hotchkiss and my grandfather Charles "chuck" Hotchkiss (deceased) are from the Pennsylvania/Ohio area. Just beginning my family search and hope to find some long lost family.

My paternal grandfather, Howard Hotchkiss of Cleveland, Ohio mentioned to me along time ago (before his passing in 1996) that the "Hotchkiss" name is Scotish, Bohemian. My father, Kenneth Hotchiss, uncle, Daniel Hotchkiss and Aunt, Carol Hotchkiss (Ulas)are his children. If anyone knows us please contact me.

Wonderful site! My great uncle was Matthew S.Connors [Connor--he added the s]. I have Connor research for anyone who wants it. My family is also linked to the McFarlanes of Burlingame. My grandmother was a Lavey. They came fron Sctoland to Burlingame, Kansas.
