April 14, 2005 page 9 Mildred L Jones Littleton, Colo. - Mildred Lorene Jones, 84, Littleton, Colo., died Sat., March 26, 2005 at a Littleton, Colo. hospital. - She was born Dec. 24, 1920, in Carbondale, the daughter of Einar W. [Bill] and Cora B. Jacobs Seastrom. - When she was young, she rode an Arabian horse named Dolly. They won many horse races together. In later years she had a black toy poodle named Jackie, which she loved very much. She also loved to cook, sew, work in the garden and travel. Mildred loved the outdoors. - When she was 13 years old, she contracted polio. She spent seven years in the hospital, she took up photography at Wicher's Studios in Topeka and won numerous awards for her work and coloring. - She was married to James E. Jones on Sept. 23, 1944. He survives of the home. - Other survivors include her daughter, Marilyn A. Jones, Englewood, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Ada Gabe, Grand Junction, Colo.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Christina, both of Englewood. - Services were April 5 at Dinkwine Family Mortuary in Littleton. Burial was in Littleton Cemetery, Littleton, Colo.
