His wife was Alicia Barker. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Jane (1540-1606).

HOTCHKIS, OF HOXWOOD. The pedigree of this family was entered at the Heralds’ Visitation of Shropshire in 1663, as follows :—
I. William Hotchkis, of Hoxwood in the County of Salop, descended in directline from Hotchkis of Hoxwood to whom these Arms were given by Richard III. He married Jane daughter and sole heir of John Northwood of Northwood in Shropshire, and had issue a son.
