Services were Tuesday, May 22, 1984, at Grace Lutheran Church in Osage City for Horace Logan Kibbe, 73, Osage City. He died Friday, May 18, at a Kansas City hospital.

Mr. Kibbe was a carpenter 30 years before he retired. H previously was a manager of Howard Cleaners at St.. Louis, Mo., and was employed by North American Bomber Plant at Kansas City, Mo.

He was born Sept. 13, 1910, at Healy, the son of Logan and Gertrude Herman Kibbe. He attended Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia. He had lived at Osage City since 1946.

Mr. Kibbe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where he served on the church board, at Osage City. He had served on the Osage City School Board.

He was married to Marie Louise Salling Sept. 27, 1934, at Osage City. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Dallas Logan Kibbe, Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Jonas Salling "Jan" Kibbe, Topeka; and six grandchildren.

Burial was in Union Cemetery at Osage City. Crable Funeral Chapel Osage City, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church Osage City, in care of the funeral chapel. --
