William was born about 1485, the son of Richard Hawkins but his mother is unknown. The place is not known.

Note: The word “junior” is only in the modern catalog summary, not the original record. It is written after all four men, so we can’t tell if it meant just William or if the whole group was the “younger” set being given the land. Because of that, we can’t use “junior” to show any family relationship. The only safe fact is that Thomas and William Hauker were both alive and of age in Fordham in 1506. Note that St Mary, Bluntisham Cum Earith, Huntingdonshire - now Cambridgeshire is about 18 miles from Fordham.
