Notes

Note 1

!Notes: Richard Northwych / de Northwood ~1360 - ?, is the likely son of Richard de Northwode ~1333 - 1361, being too young to appear in his will.

He first appears in land grants 1382–1386, consistent with a man born c. 1360 coming of age. He is linked in two deeds with Thomas Haukere, brother of Sir William Haukere/Hankeford, later King's Sergeant & Justice of the King's Bench, demonstrating continuity between the Northwode and Hawkins lines. The name "Northwych" is likely a scribal variant of “Northwode,” similar to other Kent/London spellings of the period.
