He died after 1378. The place is not known.

His wife was Margery. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Richard (c1365->1428).

From: Richard Gillingham, prior of Canterbury Cathedral Priory; the convent of Canterbury Cathedral Priory To: Robert Hawkyn de Haldenn' A messuage containing ½ rood ½ daywork of land in 'Haldenn''. Lying with the king's highway to north, the land of John Belde to south, the lane of John atte Hope to west and the messuage of Thomas Stevene to east. For a term of 90 years, for an annual payment of 12d at Great Chart manor. Robert will build a house on the land. Right of distraint and re-entry. Given at Canterbury. Endorsed with description and Great Chart in contemporary and later hands.

Nature of request: The prior of Hatfield Regis, who is of the patronage of the Earl of Oxford who is the King's ward, requests remedy against Cok, those endorsed on this bill and the greater part of the town of Hatfield who came with arms to the priory on 7 June in the first year of Richard II [1378], assaulted the petitioner, monks and servants, knocked down most of the cloister and walls and opened all the doors of the priory, entered its church and caused such alarm that the prior and monks have left the priory for fear of their lives. The prior also requests that he and his monks can safely return to the priory.1]

Nature of endorsement: [List of the accused].2] A commission of oyer and terminer should be made of the trespass at the petitioner's suit on the matter contained within to Cavendish, Percy, Tirell and Wauton or to three or two of them, provided that either Cavendish or Percy are included.
