Janna was born about 1545, the daughter of Johannis Grimm but her mother is unknown. The place is not known.

She died on 12 FEB 1590 in Conwy, Caernarvonshire, Wales.

Her husband was Hugh Hotchkiss / Hookes, who she married in ABT 1564. The place has not been found. Their ten known children were Hugh (1565-1565), Gaynor (1577-?), Johes (1578-?), Willimus (1580-?), Richard (1582-<1586), Hugh (1583-c1591), Robert (1585-?), Richardus (c1586-?), Dorothea (1588-?) and Edmund (1590-?).
