[1] John Prentys of G.L. and Joan his wife to

[2] Harry Logge of Stantonbury, grazier.

messuage and close, called Hobkyns, 20a. arable and ½a. meadow sometime Roger Hunt dividedly lying in the fields and meads of Linford; messuage and 2 closes lying together in G.L. between closes called Walshes and Hobbys; 2 tenements one called Wattys and the other Teobaldes with a close adjoining to Teobaldes; 2 crofts, a toft, a grove, 32½a. 1r. arable, 5 half yards and ½r. and half a swath of mead and 2a. pasture in the fields and meads of G.L. with lands and pasture in the Leyfield there whereof one of the said crofts lies in the nether side of the town of Linford between the highway and a close of the lord and the other croft lies between the highway and a croft called Cley Croft and shoots upon Herynges Close and the said grove is called Hoggekyns Grove and the said toft lies between the highway and a close called Pygnotys and the said 32½a., etc., lieth in the fields and meads of Linford; close wherein a dovehouse was sometime builded in G.L. between a lane called Fulwell Lane and a 'hade lond' of the lord and shooteth almost to Fulwell; pightle and 9a. land dividedly lying in the fields of Linford and all lands, etc., in G.L. whereof the donors are seised or take the profits.

J.P. and Joan covenant to levy a fine to H.L. and H.L. covenants to grant the said lands to J.P. and Joan for their lifetimes. H.L. further covenants to pay £50 of which £8 is to be paid within 14 days after the said fine levied and the remainder by annual instalments of 40s. on the feast of St. Mark at Linford parish church between the hours of 8 and 10 a.m.
