Biography
Sir Thomas Duckett ,[1] was baptised on 16 Dec 1565 at St Peter Westcheap, City of London, son of Leonell Duckett, Alderman[2].
In the Will of Sir Lionell Duckett, Alderman of the City of London, the will made on 03 Sep 1585 and signed on 21 Mar 1585/1586, he made bequests to his son and only child Thomas Duckett. However, the Testator altered his will via a Codicil of 09 Jul 1587 stating "Now for that my sonne Thomas hathe married one Margarett Nelson without my consent and expresse commandment"[3].
