!P: Mrs. Janis K. Easton, 30, 1239 Winfield, died Friday night at her home.

!P: She was born November 6, 1945, at Manhattan where she spent her early life and was graduated from Manhattan High School. She attended Brown Mackie business college at Salina. She had lived in Topeka 11 years.

!P: She formerly worked as a secretary in the Topeka unemployment office of the Kansas Employment Security Division.

!P: She had been a Cub Scout den mother and was a member of the Parent-Teacher Association at Lundgren Elementary School.

!P: She was married to Tommy L. Easton June 5, 1964, at Manhattan. He survives.

!P: Other survivors include two sons, Rex Easton and Jimmy Easton, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Reynolds, Manhattan; two brothers, Warren Reynolds, Little Rock, Ark., and Robert R. Reynolds, 2529 Fairmont Road; and a stepgrandfather, Fred Campbell, Belle, Mo. --
