"Simon FitzPons and his brother Osbern...." also witnessed a charter dated to c. 1127, recording that their brother Richard FitzPons" , had granted the manor of "Leche" to his wife Matilda in marriage" in exchange for her original marriage portion, the manor of Ullingswick in Herefordshire, which he gave to his son-in-law "Elias Giffard, in marriage with his daughter Bertha" .
