Mary was born in 1747 in Jackson River, Bath County, Virginia, the daughter of John Thomas Byrd and Mary Margaret Dean.
She died in 1820 in Peters Creek, Nicholas County, West Virginia.
Her husband was Henry Morris. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Catherine (1788-?).
