He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Rachel Gilpin, who he married on 15 NOV 1722 in Kennett Meeting, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Their four known children were Joshua (1724-1803), Joseph (1725-1811), Caleb (1727-1815) and Isaac (>1731-1813).
His second wife was Anne Mercer. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
