Their seven known children were Bertha Jean (1913-1986), Alice Louise (1915-1984), Esther Mehard (1917-2008), Thomas Davis (1919-1991), Hazel Matheny (1922-2007), Helen Jane (1924-?) and Eleanor Adele (1927-2005).
