He died on 3 NOV 1781 in Tulpehocken, Hampshire, Pennsylvania, USA.
His wife was Catharina Barbara Rieth. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Henry (1737-1781), Mathias (c1740-1822), Peter (1742-1820), Phillip (1743-?) and Magdalina (1752-?).
