!P: Laura Ruth Feltner, 84, of Osage City, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on May 1, 1931 in Clements, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Kleoria Kohlman Reese. Ruth had lived most of her life in the Osage City community. Ruth had helped her husband on the family farm and was a Homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Osage City, the Presbyterian Women, the Order of the Eastern Star Miriam Chapter 14, the Osage City American Legion Auxiliary, ECAT and the Jersey Creek Club. On January 18, 1951 Ruth was united in marriage to Charles Feltner in Emporia. Charles preceded her in death on November 7, 1999. Ruth is survived by her son, Alva Feltner of Osage City; her two daughters, Joyce Feltner of Turpin, Oklahoma and Barbara Feltner Muset of Lawrence; her two brothers, Richard Reese of Topeka and Ralph Reese of Paola; her two sisters,Mary Ann Naylor of Topeka and Vivian Catterson of Buffalo; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Ruth will be at 10:00am on Monday, August 3 at the First Presbyterian Church of Osage City. Burial will be in the Osage City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm on Sunday at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
