His wife was Ellen Jane Oakes Pratt, who he married on 23 SEP 1863. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Ida Bigelow (1864-1865), Horatio Harris (1866-?), Leslie Pratt (1869-?) and Ellen Hildreth (1871-?).
