Her husband was Clinton Phinney, who she married in 1814 in Shelburne, Massachusetts. Their five known children were Roxanna Climene (1815-?), Almerin Temple (1817-1860), Mary Jane (1820-1849), Cornelia Ann (1822-1854) and Louisa Temple (1827-1861).
