His wife was Martha Alice Newcomb, who he married on 26 JAN 1859. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Laura Newcomb (1859-?), Byron Borden (1860-?), David G. (1863-1866), Alice M. (1865-1867) and Leonard N. (1866-?).
