Braddock was born on 21 SEP 1790 in Falmouth, Massachusetts, the son of Abisha Phinney and Reliance.

He died on 2 DEC 1843 in Waquoit, Massachusetts.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Mary Bradford, who he married on 20 DEC 1812 in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Their three known children were Olive Hatch (1815-1884), Harriet (1819-1889) and Edward B. (1826-1899).

His second wife was Sarah G. Hamlin, who he married on 11 APR 1843. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
