George was born about 1765 in Warwick, Rhode Island, the son of Jabez Finney and Elizabeth.
His wife was Hennrietta Mathews, who he married on 4 MAY 1792. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Betsey Ann (1793-?) and George (1795-?).
