He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Betty Conant, who he married on 24 JAN 1769. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Cyrus (c1770-?), Betty (c1772-?), Selah (c1774-?) and Noah (1778-1859).
His second wife was Elizabeth Pulsifer, who he married on 14 SEP 1786. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Ansel (1787-1868), Jason (1789-1867), Cynthia (1791-1867), Joshua (1792-1792), Salmon (1792-1872), Charlotte (c1794-?) and Edmund (1799-1874).
