Catherine was born in 1828 in Buhlen Borge, Oldenburg, Germany, the daughter of Frantz Charles Mause and Catherine Hartman.
Her husband was Conradus Greber, who she married on 4 JUL 1847 in Paterson, SchuylkillCounty, Pennsylvania. Their six known children were John S. (1848-1900), Caroline (1849-<1891), Conrad (1851-1852), Francis (1852-1853), Jacob (1853-?) and Susen (1855-1855).
