Our source says Hannah’s maiden name is Haselton, yet there are other no records with that surname. There are records with Hazeldine, but none that fit. However, Haslewood, a related name has a Hannah who fits just perfect and just a short walk down the road in Bridgenorth. Let’s assume we have a slight error by the scribe on the ending of the surname.
