Thomas Curtis is the son of Lt. John Curtiss Jr and Elizabeth Ann Welles. Thomas was twice married, First to Mary Camp Shelly, no children listed. Second to Mary Merriman,daughter of Nathaniel Merriman and Joan Lines. They married in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticutt on 9 Jun 1674 and they became parents of thirteen children all born in Waiiingford:
