He was a signer of the New Haven Covenant.
He appears to have come to America at the age of 8yrs and lived with the Preston family for a time until marrying Mary Preston in around 1648. Records show that he was made a freeman in the N.H. colony in 1638.

Mary Preston was listed on passenger list of True love as Marie. Much more likely Peter Mallory was from Durham, Northumberland England where Rev John Davenport was pastor at St. Catherine's Chapel Hilton Castle in 1617.
