[see images attached to William b abt 1491] years estimated.

also Mainwaring.

!Notes: I have seen several attempts to name this person as Maud Mainwaring [abt 1490 to 1533], daughter of Sir John Mainwaring[abt 1471 to 1516]. Unfortionately,it looks like Maud was married to Sir Thomas Starky of Wrenbury[abt 1480 to 1529] and then to Richard Sanford of Sanford[abt 1490-1535] and busy having children to both. This makes it rather unlikely that she was William’s wife. However, these two marriages even seem to conflict and I can’t find either in primary records, so there seems to be no way of knowing. Possible aliases are Margaret and Matilda.

Text contains reference to leaving money for his daughter Maud’s marriage, most likely not the wife of William, but this is the one mentioned above.

Visitation shows Sir Randall's sole wife and mother of his children as Elizabeth Brereton. Visitation reports one source that identifies Elizabeth Leister , second wife, as mother of his children but another source that says the mother was Elizabeth Brereton. There is obviously some doubt here.
