Her husband was Alexander Torbert, who she married on 20 MAY 1846 in Ballylummd, County Antrim, Ireland. Their eight known children were Robert (1849-1870), William (1852-?), Alex (1855-1937), Isabella (1858-1926), Mary (1861-1942), Margaret (1863-1959), John (1865-1904) and Anne Jan (1867-1956).
