Breck is my neice and I have a lot more information that I could share.
Do you have an email that I can send it a GEDCOM to?
Thank you for doing this. Yours is much more extensive than mine.

Comments: Hi all, My great grandmother was Maggie Hotchkiss b 1874/75 , daughter of Cornelius Hotchkiss and Margaret Watson. Our strand of the family have stayed in Scotland although I moved to NZ in 1995. Looks like the Hotchkiss clan are scattered far and wide. Happy to hear from anyone who wants to get in touch. Dee
Admin reply: Dee, While I have some of Cornelius' descendants by his first wife Margaret, I have very little from Margaret Watson's children. I would appreciate anything you could give us on their families. Thank you Rex

Comments: I am so happy to come across this website. Hotchkiss is my birth surname and my current name. I have a lot of my Hotchkiss family history into the 1800's from Minnesota, but I am looking for more information to share with my family. I am still in touch with my father's cousins. I would love to share and hear from any of you. Thank you. Robin Hotchkiss

Comments: Charles Ernest Hotchkiss was raised by the Mighells family near Randoph NY but was never adopted. He nevertheless assumed their name so though our name is Mighells, our blood line is Hotchkiss. Thank you for all the work and history that has gone into this site!

Comments: Hi Rex
My 5th great grandparents were Robert Alexander Taylor and Margaret Watson. Thomas Taylor was my 4th great grandfather. He was married to Isabel Graham then to Mary McDugal Cowan in 1857, 3 months later my Great grandfather Robert was born.
Admin reply: So you are saying that both Robert Taylor (christened 13 Jun 1841) with parents Thomas and Isabel and Isabel herself died prior 1857, When Thomas remarried to Mary McDugal Cowan and had at least one child named Robert. -- Thank you. I'll look for those records.
