Their eight known children were James (<1892-?), William (<1892-?), Robert (<1892-?), Mary (<1892-?), Elizabeth McLaren (1892-?), Jane Dempster (1894-1974), Anne Christie (1896-?) and Euphemia Aitken (c1898-?).
