She died about APR 1704 in England.

!Notes: Shropshire Hearth Tax list of 1672 lists "Mary Hotchkis, widow" as a pauper in Wenlocke, Shropshire. At the same time there are two other Widow Hotchkis's listed in Wenlocke, "Widdow Hodgkis", of Dytton Priors [entry torn], and "Widdow Hodgkis", of Hugley [2 hearths].
!Notes: For a long time I thought I’d found Mary’s maiden name in the baptism record for what appeared to be her son Thomas reading from the LDS microfilm.
I thought the Parish record from Much Wenlock, Aug 1646, read:
Thomas the Son of Thomas Hoactkis and Mary Grayette his wife was babtized this 16th day of August 1646....
The wife's name was hard to make out in the old text. I thought It may have been Grayette or Davies.
After finding a much clearer image of the text than what was on the LDS microfilm, I can now tell, that the record actually reads as follows:
“Thomas the Sone of Thomas Hatkis and Margarette his wife was babtized this 16th day of August 1646....
So we don’t have Mary’s maiden name. Everything else is still good.”
Notice that Hatkis looks like Watkis, but what looks like a W is actually an old H.
