Biography
John de Hopton, Knight, was a son of Walter de Hopton, Knight, and Ela de Herdeburgh.[1]
He married Alice le Strange, "said to be the daughter of Lord le Strange", and they had a son John de Hopton who married Isabel Burley.[1][2]
He died probably before 1370.[1]
