Note: Roger apparently owned property in Wem. We know his father witnessed a lease there, so the family did have ties there.

Testamentum: Rogeri Hill, probatum Alkmunds, Salop ✝ Margareta

relict defunt, reluctanter jurat.

Will: Roger Hill proved Alkmunds, Salop ✝ Margareta

widow deceased, reluctantly sworn.

Note: reluctanter is scratched out in the middle so I can't read it. Text says the widow named was already dead and oath was thus entered perfunctorily.
