26 Nov 1440[4]: To the Escheator of Salop. To deliver three fourths of the manor of Cressege to Richard Duke of York. In the time of Edward II Elizabeth Lacy was seised of the manor and she married Walter Baskerville. They had two children John and Margaret. John Baskerville died without issue [John did have a son but he died a minor]. Margaret the sister of John entered the same and was married to Robert Fouleshurst. The manor descended to Thomas Fouleshurst her son and then to his son Thomas, son of Thomas Fouleshurst, son of Thomas [should be Thomas, son of Thomas, son of Robert]. Thomas, son of Thomas, married >>> Isabel <<< who was then living. After his death a fourth part was assigned to Isabel in dower and three fourths to John son and heir of Thomas, son of Thomas. After the death of John the three fourths descended to William Fouleshurst, brother of John. William died without issue and there is no heir of Elizabeth Lacy yet living.
