Her husband was Sampson Piersol, who she married in 1784 in Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. Their six known children were Jacob Scudder (1785-1853), Ruth (1787-1822), M. Ann (1789-1876), Elizabeth (c1791-1848), Tobias S. (1793-?) and Susannah (1795-1850).
