He became a Field Engineer, at first in Office Machine Repair, and then in Computer Repair, for Burroughs Corporation, a position he held for twenty three years. From 1961 to 1963, Raymond served with the U.S. Army at Fort Bless, Texas. Raymond likes to work on the family car and relax reading science fiction.
