Her husband was Thomas McEwan, who she married on 14 DEC 1855 in Bothwell Manse, Bothwell, Lanark, Scotland. Their six known children were Thomas (1858-?), James (1860-?), David (1862-?), Mary Jane (1865-?), Samuel (1867-1899) and Andrew (1869-?).
