Comments: My paternal grandfather, Howard Hotchkiss of Cleveland, Ohio mentioned to me along time ago (before his passing in 1996) that the "Hotchkiss" name is Scotish, Bohemian. My father, Kenneth Hotchiss, uncle, Daniel Hotchkiss and Aunt, Carol Hotchkiss (Ulas)are his children. If anyone knows us please contact me.
Comments: Wonderful site! My great uncle was Matthew S.Connors [Connor--he added the s]. I have Connor research for anyone who wants it. My family is also linked to the McFarlanes of Burlingame. My grandmother was a Lavey. They came fron Sctoland to Burlingame, Kansas.

Comments: I live in Wilmington, DE but was born & raised in Western NY (Buffalo/Kenmore). My father was Afton Hotchkiss (Hume/Fillmore, NY and my grandfather was Oscar Leroy hotchkiss of Hune/Fillmore. Lineage through the Hotchkiss Family Association,Inc. takes me to john, son of Samuel Hotchkiss who came to America in 1622. apparently Samuel's family has been traced to Shropshire (old name Salop) County in...(trimmed)
