!P: She was born Aug. 7, 1948, in Topeka, the daughter of William Chalmers and Marguerite (Barkley) Chalmers. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1966 and from Washington University in 1970.
!P: She married Charles T. "Ted" Kelyman on Aug. 11, 1973. He survives, of the home.
!P: Additional survivors are a brother, Glenn Chalmers, Sherwood, Ark.; and a sister, Jan(e) McClain, Kansas City, Mo.
